These four geometric paintings are the outline for sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy of Chinese characters.
Chinese ancestors said that the taste of these four flavors is life.
I use colors to express the different taste. People who do not read Chinese characters can feel the four different tastes by visual experience. However, with the use of color blocks and geometric shapes, even those who understand Chinese characters need some time to recognize the character depicted. I hope by using the visual language - color as medium to connect the viewer's personal feelings, so as to diminish the influence of the written language on the viewer.
